Hum aur Tum

Once upon a time there was a girl – Hum.

She was more of a boy, really… interested more in sticks and stones, rather than dollhouses and polly-pockets. Growing up among ‘aiyahs’, she always wished she had an ‘aiyah’ of her own… even longing to adopt her cousin. Thus was her first attraction to the male species.

A few years and months later, in the same vicinity, came along a baby boy – Tum.
Albeit ‘yet another boy in the family’, he was the apple of his mother’s eye… and turned many-an-eye as well!  This boy craved female companionship. Thus it was settled that he should have a sister… if not to keep him company, to educate him on the complex ways of the female mind.

Life went on for these two individuals, as pre-destined… Growing up in safe and secure homes, they were little exposed to the cruel ways of the world, and grew up sheltered and loved by all.

Walking under buses and getting hit by trains, they kept falling in love , which was kind of the same… albeit always with those unintended. To each one, love was a companionship… something about someone always being there to catch them when they fall. But alas, they usually ended up falling face first into the dirt… heart-broken and torn.

But thanks to the higher power that pre-destines even the number of hairs on a person’s head, they never stopped believing in love, forever and for always holding on to that feeling of ‘bliss’…

Therefore, it was no surprise that once their paths crossed, sparks flew and trumpets blew… it was ‘love’.
Discovering each other after years of acquaintance, each one was stunned to uncover mutual feelings of love, respect and honour (to the higher power) in each other.

Thus begins their story… one of faith, bliss and true love. <3
